Copies of this document were distributed to every parish for every priest, for every parish safeguarding representative and a copy was provided for display in sacristies. Q. 5 Sometimes an altar server finds it difficult to tie the cincture on his/her vestments and asks me to tie it. Is it acceptable for me to help by tying the cincture for him/her? Click for answer

Q. 8 Altar servers do not serve mass during weekdays. Should the register be signed when the servers are not there? Click for answer
